Kerala Police identify main accused in Catholic nun murder case
A lookout notice has been issued against the accused and his photographs have also been released. According to police, they traced the phone signals of the accused and found that he was in Pala hours after the murder.

Days after an elderly nun was murdered at a convent in Pala in Kerala, police claim a breakthrough in the case. The main accused has been identified as Satheesh Babu who hails from Kasargod.

A lookout notice has been issued against the accused and his photographs have also been released. According to police, they traced the phone signals of the accused and found that he was in Pala hours after the murder.

He is still absconding. Police are suspecting that Satheesh Babu is a serial offender who has targeted convents in the past as well.

69-year-old Catholic nun Sister Amala was found dead in her convent room at Pala on September 17. She was found dead by other nuns at Carmel Convent who had gone to her room after she missed the morning mass at the chapel.

The doors of her room were not locked from inside and they found Amala, who had sustained a deep injury on her forehead, lying in a pool of blood.
