Kerala: Main accused in rape case arrested

KOCHI: The main accused in the case relating to the rape of a minor girl at Kothamangalam in Ernakulam district was arrested today, police said.Bekkar (27), against whom a lookout notice had been issued yesterday, was arrested from Neriyamangalm in Idukki district, they said.Two former classmates of the 14-year-old girl, who is pregnant, have also been taken into custody, police said.The girl had told the police that besides her father, many others had sexually abused her for over a year at different places.So far 13 persons have been arrested in connection with the case.
