Karnataka Man Caught Filming Woman While She Was Taking Bath, Tied to Pole, Thrashed
The accused was doing a bar bending work near the house of the woman and when he saw a woman taking a bath in her washroom. The accused allegedly started recording video through the window.

A man from Karnataka’s Hubballi is accused of allegedly filming a woman while she was taking a bath. The incident took place on Tuesday in Karnataka’s Gokul road, said police.

According to the police, the accused identified as, Laad sahab was doing a bar bending work near the house of the woman and he saw her taking a bath in the washroom. The accused allegedly started recording video through a window.

Suddenly, the woman noticed of being filmed by a man, and she started screaming, following which the neighbours caught the accused and started beating him by tying to an electric pole.

After being informed about the incident, police rushed to the spot and took the accused into coustody.

In an unrelated case, a 25-year-old man was arrested for secretly filming women while they were bathing in paying guest accommodation in the Mahadevpura area of Bengaluru.

Ashok, the accused, lived in Mahadevpura in a men’s PG building near the women’s PG. He allegedly filmed the women taking baths through a ventilation hole. As he was filming the women, he was caught red-handed by the locals, who subsequently notified the police.

Police discovered seven films of women taking baths on Ashok’s cell phone, which he had taken over the course of three to four months. A criminal case has been filed against the accused under Section 354C (Voyeurism) of the Indian Penal Code.

Police also tried to investigate the case from blackmailing angle and whether the accused asked for ransom from the women.
