The CEO of Jaypee Sports International said he will meet F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone in April to talk about the future of the motorsport event in India.

Greater Noida: Indian Grand Prix organisers Jaypee Sports International on Sunday said they are hoping that the next union government will take a considerate view of the Formula One event in India and help bring back the race next year.

"We have a lot of hopes from the upcoming government. I am sure they will help us in bringing back the race in 2015. I think the government will see the event as a pride of India and facilitate the event," JSI CEO Sameer Gaur said at the BIC here.

The CEO of Jaypee Sports International, the promoters of Indian Grand prix, said he will meet F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone in April to talk about the future of the motorsport event in India.

"I will be meeting Bernie next month. I am very hopeful that things will be sorted out. We have created a massive structure for the event and we want to utilise it for it," he said.

Ecclestone had earlier said that he wanted financial guarantees from Jaypee Group for the race to see out its five-year contract. The first three editions of the race took place between 2011 and 2013.
