BANGALORE: The Lokayukta Special Court on Friday announced that it will pronounce its order on the bail plea of Vinod Goel, Managing Director of Jantakal Mining Company, on October 7. The Court, which on September 26 had reserved its orders on Goel’s bail petition, had posted hearing to September 30. However, Goel’s absence forced the court to adjourn pronouncement of orders. Judge K N Sudheendra Rao expressed unhappiness at Goel’s absence. Goel’s counsel Vinay Keerthi requested the judge to exempt his client from appearing in court, citing medical reasons. To this, the judge said the court can issue warrant against the accused. After repeated requests from the advocate, the judge posted the case to October 7, with the reminder that he has to appear without fail.
