JAC no to Seemandhra officers in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Opposing the appointment of MT Krishna Babu, who hails from Seemandhra as the GHMC commissioner, the TJAC demanded the government to post unbiased officers to key posts in Telangana.The TJAC also demanded the state government to appoint a non-Andhra IPS officer to the post of DGP, following the retirement of Aravinda Rao on June 30.Replying to a question at a news conference on Saturday, TJAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram said in backdrop of the T movement, the state government should appoint impartial officers in key posts and Seemandhra officers should not be appointed to key posts in the region. He opposed the appointment of Krishna Babu.
