HYDERABAD: Punjagutta police on Thursday registered a case against Humayunnagar police inspector P Madhukar Swamy for allegedly aiming his service revolver towards a retired policeman a few days back.The case was registered against the inspector and three other constables following directions given by the Nampally criminal court. According to police, the complainant MA Aleem had gone to inquire with Madhukar Swamy why his relatives were brought to the police station in September. Aleem further alleged that Madhukar Swamy shouted and asked him to get out of the room.Aleem alleged he was slapped by Madhukar and the latter aimed his service revolver at him. Subsequently, he asked constables Shiva, Vinay, Vijay to take Aleem into the lockup.Aleem lodged a private complaint in the Nampally court and after going through the complaint, the 14th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate directed Punjagutta police to register cases against Madhukar Swamy and the constables.
