Army lost Captain Tushar Mahajan of the elite Para commando units in the gunbattle with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pampore on Sunday.
Captain Tushar Mahajan hails from Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir. He was injured in the encounter and succumbed to injuries later at hospital.
The 26-year-old Army Captain is survived by his father.
"He did everything by himself. He had that passion to do something and he always wanted to get into the Army," says father of Captain Tushar Mahajan.
