Los Angeles: Hugh Jackman is taking no chance after undergoing treatment for a second bout of skin cancer.

'The Wolverine' star, however, was in good spirits as he sported a bandage on the side of his nose during the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' premiere in New York City, reported People magazine.

The 45-year-old actor took the opportunity to call out to his fans to get regular check-ups and wear sunscreen. Asked how his face was doing, he said, "My face? It's fine, it's good. Thank you for asking. I have a few stitches, I had a basal cell carcinoma taken out.

"Tell all your readers: get check ups, wear sunscreen. It's all about prevention." Jackman confirmed the cancer "is out, it's fixed, and I'll get myself checked up. It's all about catching these things early."

What's your reaction?
