New Delhi: Chinese handset manufacturer, Huawei has announced the launch of yet another entry level Android smartphone. Called the Huawei T8830, the smartphone is priced at around Rs 5,700 and is by far the cheapest dual-core processor based Android smartphone from a reputed brand.
However, Huawei has announced it for the Chinese market as of now and there is no information as when it will be launched in other markets including India. Considering Huawei's focus in India, the smartphone is expected to make its way to India. If the Huawei T8830 is launched in India, it will bring about major changes to the entry level Android smartphone market in the country.
In terms of hardware specifications, the Huawei T8830 is almost identical to Huawei's Honor Android smartphone. Huawei T8830 comes with a Mediatek MT 6517 dual-core processor operating at 1 GHz speed and has 512 MB of RAM, reported Gizchina.com.
The smartphone comes with a 4 inch display with a 480x800 pixel resolution and protected with Gorilla Glass. For imaging, it has a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus.
