Former IAS officer Arun Bhatia in the Delhi High Court had filed the petition alleging corruption.

New Delhi: The petition, seeking an inquiry into alleged corruption in the funding of the 2010 Commonwealth Games (CWG), against CWG Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi has been disposed off on Wednesday by the Delhi High Court.

Former IAS officer Arun Bhatia in the Delhi High Court had filed the petition alleging corruption.

The bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justice Manmohan said that since the government has already formed a committee to look into the corruption, they’d wait for that report. But also added that the lawyers who filed this petition can go ahead and make a presentation in front of the VK Shunglu committee probing alleged CWG corruption.
