Amritsar: Border Security Force has seized eleven kilogram of heroin with a face value of Rs 55 crore in the international market.
Confirming the seizure here on Monday, a BSF official said that the consignment of drug was pushed from Pakistan to India through Bikhiwind Indo-Pak border Sunday night.
It was being carried by Pakistani smugglers who escaped under the cover of darkness, he added.
On a search operation Monday, the BSF found eleven kilogram heroin on the spot.
