HC seeks affidavit of KWA MD

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Wednesday directed the Kerala Water Authority managing director to file an affidavit regarding the status of the project to provide sewage treatment plant at Sabarimala.  A Bench comprising Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan and Justice C T Ravikumar passed the order, while considering a report filed by Devaswom Ombudsman. TDB submitted that the KWA is the implementing agency and the board had  allotted `10 crore to the agency long ago. But there was no action from the KWA, the report said.The court asked the KWA to file  the report on April 3, otherwise the managing  director should appear  in court at 10.15 am on April 4 to explain the situation.
