CUTTACK: The Orissa High Court has restrained the Fast Track Court II, Kandhamal, from pronouncing its judgment without the leave of the High Court.The single-judge Bench of Justice MM Das has further directed the prosecution to examine the investigating officer with reference to the allegations made in the writ petition as well as the intervention petition. The statement of deposition of the investigating officer should be filed before the High Court on the next date of hearing.The court’s directive came in pursuance to a writ petition filed by Brahmachari Madhab Chaitanya, the informant of the case, as well as the intervention petition filed by Durga Prasad Kar of Phulbani.The petitioner and the intervener alleged that the investigation of the case has not proceeded in proper direction.Chaitanya, a disciple of Swami Lakshmanananda Saraswati, stated in the petition that Test Identification Parade has not been done of the murder accused and the investigating agency has not probed the resolution of Vetikula Church which had allegedly planned an attack on Swami Lakshmanananda Saraswati. The intervener has also made similar allegations regarding the investigation.
