I simply couldn't keep a straight face when a friend told me of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's plight.
Apparently Akki and Kat had flown in to Singapore to shoot De Dhana Dhan. On landing there they realised that everyone from the cast was staying in a suite of a seven star hotel.
Everyone… except them!
The film stars Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy among others. Of course Suniel, Paresh and co got their suites. But even actors like Johnny Lever, Chunky Pandey, Archana Puran Singh and Asrani were comfortably lodged in their exquisite suites.
Apparently the producer of the movie had allotted all the suites and Akki-Kat got left out because they joined the cast later. So even when the poor producer asked some of the actors to adjust, none of them sounded particularly keen.
Last I heard Akki and Kat looked around for a suite of their stature!
