Ghadei, who was in Naveen Nivas for nearly half an hour, told mediapersons that what happened to him is now past.

“I have forgotten the past and looking forward to the future,” Ghadei said adding, he will do whatever job is given to him by the leader of the party.

Responding to queries from mediapersons, the senior vice-president of the BJD said he discussed with the CM matters relating to his constituency, particularly the Left Canal of Rengali Irrigation Project. A portion of his constituency will get irrigation benefit from the project which is not making desired progress.

Sources in the party said the Chief Minister advised Ghadei to concentrate more on the party keeping the 2014 general election in mind.

Ghadei was one of the five ministers who were dropped by Naveen in the Cabinet reshuffle on August 2. The exit of Ghadei had surprised many for he was the longest- serving Finance minister of the State.
