Forest official stabbed to death

GUNTUR: Nallamekala Sankara Rao (52), a forest official, was stabbed to death  by some miscreants at his house at Yadav Bazar in the Old City in the wee hours of Friday. His second wife Vijayalakshmi was also injured in the attack. She was  shifted to the Government General Hospital. Her condition is stated to be serious.Sankara Rao married Vijayalakshmi one year ago after the death of his first wife Nagamani. His first wife’s children Satya Naga Sai and Prameela are also living with them.Old Guntur circle inspector Sayed Mustafa said four miscreants who went to the house of Sankara Rao around 3:30 am, pressed the calling bell. When Sankara Rao opened the door, they attacked him  and his wife with knives.The police are suspecting his first wife’s children hand behind the murder.
