A fire broke out in a coach of Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express after it reached Bhubaneswar.
Bhubaneswar: A fire broke out in a coach of Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express barely 20 minutes after it reached Bhubaneswar on Wednesday evening, railway sources said.
There was no injury to any passenger or damage to luggage as all passengers disembarked by that time, Bhubaneswar Railway Station Manager Hedarnath Sahoo said.
"The damaged B-4 AC three-tier coach had 72 berths. No one was hurt in the incident," Sahoo said, adding that fire tenders doused the flame before it could spread to other coaches.
Though there were 13 coaches, only one coach had been damaged, he said.
The firemen suspected that the fire was due to some technical problems in aid-conditioner compressor.
