HYDERABAD:  In order to strengthen the party’s organisational structure, Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu has asked party leaders to send the ‘Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats’ (SWOT) analysis report on TDP vis-a-vis other parties in all 42 Lok Sabha segments. At a meeting on Wednesday with senior members on organisational matters, Naidu wanted party leaders to identify other parties’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) and send the analytical reports to party headquarters on a regular basis. He wanted them to chalk out plans locally on how to bring women, youth and BCs in the party fold. The SWOT reports would be useful for the party to achieve good results in the next elections. Naidu told the Lok Sabha segment coordinators to identify where the party was weak and take steps to further strengthen the party.Naidu also wanted the district party units to take active role in coordinating with mandal and village level units. Earlier, TDP leaders were coordinating  with mandal and village level units directly from party headquarters. From now, the district party unit should coordinate with mandal and village level units and see the committees meet regularly and organise agitation programmes. The general secretaries were directed to focus on 3 to 5 Assembly segments each and submit regular reports on party status. Out of 294 Assembly segments, the TDP has no in-charges for 39 segments. Naidu directed party leaders to appoint in-charges to these segments.Naidu also expressed displeasure over some general secretaries for not touring regularly in their respective areas. He asked them to interact with party leaders in their respective Assembly segments and also mingle freely with the people.
