Examine the audio tape, demands CPM

BHUBANESWAR: The State CPM has demanded examination of the audio tape involving the two ministers of state, Pushpendra Singhdeo and Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, in horse-trading during the 2010 Rajya Sabha polls. In a statement here on Sunday, secretariat member Santosh Das said this would become the base for the next step in the investigation.  The audio tape makes it evident that Congress MLA Shivaji Majhi abstained from the Rajya Sabha polls because of pecuniary deal, he claimed. Majhi and another Congress MLA Gregory Minz had abstained which led to BJD winning all the three seats. While the vote of another Congress MLA was declared invalid, BJP MLA Bhimsen Choudhury abstained.
