KOCHI: Students are having a whale of time at the various contests being organised at the Swasraya Bharat-2011. It's a platform for hundreds of students from schools in different parts of the district to showcase their talents and skills. All are eagerly looking forward to the Environment Congress to be held on Monday.Around 350 students have registered, registration is on till 10 am on Monday, said programme convener Shanoj. The eco-congress will have students interacting with a panel of scientists namely prof Seetharaman, Induchoodan, Mohan Kumar, Basheer and Sanjeevan on various green issues, said Shanoj P B, convener of the programme. A debate on 'Dams and Their Safety' will be held in which Induchoodan will be the moderator. Another highlight is the poster presentation by students. On Sunday, students explored the world of colours and forms during the painting contest held in the morning. The quiz contest that followed had many storming their tender brains and so did the essay writing contest. Swasraya Bharat 2011 will conclude on Tuesday.
