DRDO DIHAR Recruitment 2018 notification to hire candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow and Research Associate has been released by the Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR), Leh-Ladakh, on its official website – drdo.gov.in. Candidates who are willing to work at High Altitude and in adverse conditions must go through the details mentioned below and appear for the Walk-In Interviews scheduled to be held on 16th February 2018 at Chandigarh.

The Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR), a constituent laboratory of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), was setup at Leh in 1962 with the mandate to meet fresh food requirement of the soldiers at high altitude cold desert condition and also to make the region reasonably green.

How to Apply:

Eligible and interested candidates must report at the DIHAR Base Lab Chandigarh, Near 3 BRD, Industrial Area Phase-II, Chandigarh. The DRDO DIHAR Recruitment 2018, Walk-In Interviews on 16th Feb 2018 will begin at 10:30 AM in the morning and candidates are advised to reach the venue at 9 AM to register and complete application formalities. Candidates who will register between 9 AM to 10:30 AM will be called for the Walk-in Interviews.

1. Junior Research Fellow - 10 Vacancies

2. Research Associate - 1 Vacancies

Total Vacancies – 11

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidates applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) must possess a first class degree in M.Sc. – Agronomy / Soil Science / Horticulture / Seed Technology / Plant Breeding / and Genetics / Vegetable Science / Botany / Zoology / Animal Husbandry / Bio-Chemistry / Biotechnology / Micro-biology / Plant Pathology / Plant Physiology / Agriculture Entomology and must be NET Qualified.

2. Candidates applying for the post of Research Associate (RA) must possess a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in the disciplines of Analytical Chemistry / Natural Product Chemistry / Biochemistry with hands-on experience in HPLC, FTIR and LC-MS.
