When you know that you have to watch a Dracula movie, the whole sight of blood, gory and cruelty raise trepidation and that's exactly what fans who love this genre want. But you can only expect a part of your contemplation to be true in 'Dracula Untold'. Here's a Dracula, who is not the villain but a superhero. And we haven't seen a sexier Dracula than Luke Evans. Robert Pattinson has certainly got a serious competitor. Eh!
So, 'Dracula Untold' is supposed to be the untold story of the famous literary vampire. The circumstances that lead him to become a Dracula has been shown in the movie starring 'Fast and Furious 6' hottie Luke Evans.
Vlad the Impaler, played by Luke Evans is a loving husband and a doting father. His wife Mirena (Sarah Gadon) and son Ingeras ( Art Parkinson) are the apple of his eyes. But as destined, the evil Ottoman sultan Mehmed ( Dominic Cooper) demands 1000 Transylvanian boys and to add to the misery, he also wants Vlad's son. Vlad can go to any extent to save his people and family and that brings him to the Broken Tooth Mountain.
There he meets a dreadful vampire ( Charles Dance). The vampire makes Vlad drink his blood so that he becomes powerful enough to fight with his enemies. But there's a clause. If the Vlad resists himself from the thirst for drinking blood then only he will return to his human form, or else he will always remain as a vampire. So his battle with the evil forces need to seen in the movie.
Luke Evans as Vlad The Impaler is fabulous and has a sex appeal. Sarah Gadon and Dominic Cooper has also played their part well. But director Gary Shore fails to recreate the same Dracula magic that the other movies have.
