CHENNAI: Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday alleged that DMK had circulated Rs 5,000 crore to win the April 13 Assembly polls. The CM said, during the polls DMK had depended on money power than anything else and due to the EC’s strict action, Rs 50 crore was seized from DMK men.On this, she recalled an incident at Marina Beach. After the seizure of cash from the DMK men, persons close to the family of the former CM were talking after a walk. During the conversation, one of them mentioned about the Rs 50 crore seizure. Another person reportedly replied, “For the family of former CM, Rs 50 crore is like a few drops of water fallen from a potful. Our Annan has circulated Rs 5,000 crore.” This was heard by a person known to her, she said.
