CHENNAI: The orders dismissing two persons from judicial service on graft charges have been upheld by the Madras High Court. Considering the gravity of the charges, there was no scope for generosity as the same would amount to misplaced sympathy, a division bench comprising Justices E Dharma Rao and M Venugopal observed. The Bench was dismissing two writ petitions from N Raghunathan, assistant, and R Alageswaran, Sheristadar, in the Additional Sub-Court in Salem. The duo was dismissed from service following corruption and misuse of office charges by the orders of the Registrar-General, Madras HC , in December 2004.
