The passengers have been sent to hotels in Paris and another aircraft has been arranged to fly them back to Delhi.
New Delhi: A Delhi-bound Air India flight was grounded in Paris following a spoiler snag. 236 passengers were on board Air India's flight AI 142 which had to be grounded just when it was to take off from Paris CDG Airport on Saturday night as the aircraft's spoilers - speed retardation devices on the wings that move up and down became unserviceable.
The passengers have been sent to hotels in Paris and another aircraft has been arranged to fly them back to Delhi.
This is not for the first time that an Air India flight faced a snag. On March 8, a Dubai-bound Air India flight with 189 passengers onboard made an emergency landing at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport due to a technical issue.
