Delhi: Police use drones to carry out search operation in violence-hit Trilokpuri

New Delhi: Delhi Police is using drones to carry out search operations in Delhi's Trilokpuri area where violence broke out on the night of Diwali. Door-to-door searches are also being held in the vicinity to check for anti-social elements.

The curfew in the area will be relaxed from 2 to 5 pm on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday sought a detailed report from Delhi Police on the clashes. Reportedly, the MHA has sought a detailed report after allegations that the police response had been slow. Till now, 45 people have been arrested and 45 others have been detained in relation to the clashes.

As many as 19 people were injured in the violence that broke out between two communities. Some families have also fled the area.
