New Delhi: The sixth accused in the gangrape and murderous assault of the 23-year-old paramedical student has agreed for a test identification parade. The accused, who is a minor, will undergo the test identification parade on December 26.

Four other accused will be produced in the court later on Sunday. On Thursday, one of the four accused in the case - Mukesh - was "identified" by the victim's friend, who was also beaten up brutally when he tried to save the girl, during a Test Identification Parade (TIP) at Tihar Jail.

Police on Saturday had also said that the victim recorded a 'very bold statement'. DCP (South) Chhaya Sharma had further said the version given by the girl corroborates the statement of her male friend. Addressing a press conference, she said, "The juvenile accused, whom we caught yesterday, has had a very wayward life. He has six siblings, his father is mentally unstable. He has not contacted any of his family members in the past five years." She added, "When Raju came to Delhi, he worked at a tea stall and later joined as a helper in various buses."

Three other accused, Ram Singh, Pawan Gupta and Vinay Sharma, had refused to undergo TIP.

Police have invoked the stringent charges of attempt to murder and destruction of evidence against the accused. Investigators had earlier pressed charges against them under sections 365 (kidnapping or abducting), 376 (2)(g) (gang rape), 377 (unnatural offences), 394 (hurting in committing robbery) and 34 (common intention) of IPC.
