Pune: The Pune police, on Friday, recovered the dead body of a software engineer, his wife and their four-year-old son from their flat in Pune's Baner-Pashan area.
The couple was found hanging from the ceiling while the child was found dead on the floor in the flat in Basant Bahar Cooperative Housing Society.
Police have identified the deceased as Jayesh Patel (34), his wife Bhumika (30), and son Naksh (4), who originally hail from Gujarat. The tragic incident came to light on Friday after a family friend of the couple visited Basant Bahar Cooperative Housing Society to take stock of the situation as calls from his mobile went unanswered for past two days.
The police have registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
So far, there is no conclusive finding as to what caused the death of the IT professional, his wife and their son.
