WARANGAL: Subedari police on Friday night registered a case against the husband of a woman constable who had collected money in the name of a money circulation scheme and cheated nearly 1,000 people.The accused, G Anil Kumar, belonging to Vaddepalli, floated LL BCM Company in Warangal town, six months ago.With the acquaintance he had with Fathers of various churches in the town, Kumar got many enrolled as members in the money circulation scheme.There are allegations that he collected about Rs 2 crore from nearly 1,000 members.He promised people to pay double the amount every month to all those paying Rs 2,500 a week.But Kumar has been missing for the last few days, the victims said. Anil's wife, Sri Vani, works as a constable in Hanamkonda police station. The victims lodged a complaint with Hanamkonda DSP Veereswar Rao that Vani threatened them when they went to her house and asked about her husband.Police launched a manhunt to nab Anil Kumar.
