HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will launch the Prajapatham programme in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. He will launch the Prajapatham programme at Zilla Parishad School, Nakkapalli, Visakhapatnam on Sunday.Ministers, MPs, MLAs and other public representatives will simultaneously launch the programme across the state. Inspired by the success and response from the people of the state during the previous five successive rounds of Prajapatham programme, the government has decided to take the initiative yet again. Prajapatham would be held from April 15 to May 5 covering all the gram panchayats and wards in the state.The state government has already released Rs 7.82 crore to all districts for conducting the programme. Besides Rs 1,600 crore has been released as input subsidy for farmers in the drought-hit areas. The amount will be deposited directly to the farmers' bank accounts.
