HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Saturday demanded a CBI probe into the liquor scam. It also demanded that cases be registered against the ministers involved in the scandal.Speaking to mediapersons here, TDP leaders Motkupalli Narasimhulu and Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy said chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy should quit the post on moral grounds following the 'involvement' of his cabinet colleagues in the liquor scam.They alleged that liquor syndicates were paying Rs 2,000 crore bribe to some ministers and Congress MLAs. The government should disclose the names of ministers and MLAs receiving bribes from the liquor syndicates, they said. The fight against the irregularities in Polavaram project tenders would continue.
