Continuing with his tirade against Bihar Assembly Speaker for recognising rebel MLAs as separate group, Lalu Prasad on Wednesday poured more scorn on him and alleged that he took a hardcore Naxal as his aide to Japan on official expense.
"Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary took a hardcore naxalite Murari Yadav with him as his aide to a trip to Japan on official expense," Prasad told reporters while making a blistering attack on him.
The RJD chief also alleged that Chaudhary was involved in murder case of his party MP from Gaya Rajesh Kumar.
"I have called kin of former RJD MP to bring all documents against Chaudhary in the case," he added.
Angry over notification issued by Bihar Assembly Secretariat recognising 13 RJD MLAs as a separate group, Prasad said it violated provisions of anti-defection law.
"In the notification the 13 MLAs have been referred as former members of RJD...How can you say this when party did not expel them or they have resigned on their own," he said pointing out lacunae in the notification.
Prasad, who had marched to the Assembly with 9 of the 13 MLAs who turned up for RJD Legislature party meeting denying quitting the party, said the notification was "unconstitutional" and violated anti-defection laws.
Prasad had also petitioned Governor D Y Patil against the notification last evening and urged him to get it withdrawn.
A fuming RJD Chief on Tuesday alleged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar hatching "conspiracy" with the Speaker to trigger split in his party.
The RJD chief today claimed that Raghvendra Pratap Singh, who was among 4 absentee in the Tuesday's Legislature party meeting, has contacted him and assured that he is very much in the party and would present himself from the Speaker to prove this.
