New Delhi: Police are probing the role of suspected activists of the banned student outfit SIMI as well as the Bangladesh-based Harkut-ul-Jihad-e-Islami (HuJI).
Their support among illegal Bangladeshi migrants too is being examined.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje says many such migrants had been moved to a camp last year on a suggestion from the Centre.
The BJP has been demanding immediate measures for their deportation. Even the Supreme Court had asked for their speedy detection three years ago.
The apex court ruling came on a petition that cited Bangladeshi immigration as a serious security threat to the country.
