Bandh in Aurangabad over Mahabodhi temple blasts peaceful

Barring a few incidents of stone-pelting, the bandh in protest against the Bodh Gaya blasts passed off peacefully in Aurangabad on Wednesday. All the major parties had supported the bandh.

A procession was taken out in the morning which included workers of political parties as well as members of various Buddhist associations. Business establishments and shops in the city remained closed. Some miscreants hurled stones at the shops in Nirala Bazaar, but nobody was hurt, police said.
