New Delhi: After achieving an historic feat, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal will take oath as the chief minister of Delhi on February 14, 2015. He was appointed the leader of the AAP legislature party at a party meeting attended by all newly elected 67 legislators on Tuesday.
"During the meeting, all the members elected Kejriwal through a voice vote which has been formally accepted by him. Now we will meet Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung," Alka Lamba, the newly-elected legislator from Chandni Chowk said.
Lamba said all volunteers who contributed to the party's victory were given a standing ovation during the meeting.
