The archives will be equipped with 2,000 hours of live concerts of different Carnatic musicians since 1940.The listening archives have been specifically designed so listeners can listen to the music of any artist pertaining to any year, composition or any raga of their choice, available in the archives. The concerts are a collection of RT Chari, who is the Managing Director of TAG Corporation.The archives will feature 6,000 songs of different musicians.KN Ramaswamy, Director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, said, “The objective is to not lose out on any of the music collection.
