New Delhi: Amazon has announced to bring its Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire HD 8.9 tablets to India. The company has priced the Kindle Fire HD (16GB) at Rs 15,999, while the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 (16GB) will be available for Rs 21,999.
The Kindle Fire HD has a 7-inch display. It is claimed to be world's first tablet with dual-band, dual-antenna Wi-Fi for faster downloads and streaming. The tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor.
It also sports a front-facing HD camera for taking photos. While the 16GB model is priced at Rs 15,999 the company also lists the 32GB varaint which will be available for Rs 18,999.
On the other hand, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 has a 8.9-inch HD display. The tablet will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. Its 32GB version will be available for Rs 25,999.
The company offers free unlimited cloud storage for all your Amazon content. All these models will available in India starting on June 27.
