AIMS to observe Palliative Care Day

KOCHI: The Amritha Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) will organise various programmes in connection with World Palliative Care Day on Saturday. Hibi Eden MLA will inaugurate the function to be held at Amritheswari Hall.Actor Salim Kumar will inaugurate the 10th anniversary of Amritha Palliative Home Care while actor Meera Nandan will inaugurate Palliative Care (non-cancer) Home Care. AIMS Director Dr Prem Nair, Pain and Palliative Care Department head Dr P  Ram kumar, Dr P Sanjeev Vasudevan, Dr Rahul Laxman, Dr Charu Sinh and Dr Krishnakumari will speak.The inaugural function will be followed by a music programme by Idea Star Singer fame Amritha Suresh and Yadukrishnan and a magic show by Muraleekrishnan from the US.
