While the third list of allotment to professional degree courses was published by the Office of the Comissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) on Sunday, many students and parents are having a tough time going by the admission schedule.
The date and time of admission of students who received allotment in computer science and engineering, applied electronics, aeronautical engineering and architecture is August 6 at 9 a m.
The date of admission is also the same for mechanical production engineering, electrical and electronics, civil engineering and automobile engineering though the time scheduled is 1 pm.
“Those who are in Kannur or even far off have to join the colleges early on Monday which will put them in much difficulty. Many others have been given one or two days time except these options,” said a professional student hailing from Kannur.
The admission dates for other courses including MBBS, BDS and B Tech (agricultural engineering) have been scheduled between August 6 to 8. However, in many other courses (such as Information Technology, biotechnology and food technology among others), the admission dates are August 7 and 8.
