Action sought against rabid dog menace

KOCHI: Once again stray dog menace has been creating difficulty to the public in the Kaloor-Kathrikkadavu area. With the incident of a rabid dog attacking a merchant last day, the Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi has come up demanding action from the Corporation on the issue. A section of the merchants’ body met Mayor Tony Chammany demanding action.  “Rabid dogs have become a major threat to passengers and people going for morning walk at Kathrikkadavu overbridge,” the merchants said. An urgent meeting of the Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi, Kathrikkadavu unit, was held under president P A Stephen.
