Chennaites have been invited to join the nationwide annual train journey to build India through enterprise.Siddharth said, the train journey, which will begin from Mumbai, is open to ‘highly motivated and entrepreneurial youth in the age group of 20-25 years. The basic idea behind the yatra is to build India through enterprise by awakening the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth of the nation.’ A total of 450 youngsters in the age group of 20-25 years of age especially from small towns and villages of the country will be selected as participants while others above the age limit will join as facilitators, informed Siddharth. Supported by Dell India, Cairn India, HSBC and Ministry of External Affairs, the yatra will help facilitate the growth of entrepreneurs and help them start and scale up business with the help of technology.Siddharth said, during the 15-day journey, the train will halt at 13 locations where participants will have an opportunity to meet exceptional change-makers who are transforming India.“By exposing the youth to such individuals and institutions, which are developing unique solutions to India’s developmental challenges, we will inspire them to lead and develop institutions nationally and within their communities,” Siddharth and Mohan Menon said.These ‘real-heroes’ are champions of change in multiple fields and have showcased sustained success with an impact.
