BANGALORE: In three separate accidents, three persons, including a software engineer, died in city since Sunday. A 45 year old woman died after she was knocked down by a car in Frazer Town Traffic police station limits. The deceased, identified as Velliyammal, was a resident of Doddaguntte and a native of Andhra Pradesh. She was hit by a car on Saturday. The incident took place near the ITC bus stop on the Banasawadi Main Road. She was shifted to NIMHANS, where she died on Sunday night. She was working as a domestic maid. The car driver has been arrested, the Fraser Town traffic police said.
BMTC bus runs over pedestrian

A 27yearold man died after he was run over by a BMTC bus in Audugodi police station limits and the enraged public pelted stones at the bus. The deceased David, was a native of Chennai. He was run over by a Majesticbound bus from Koramangala. He died on the spot, the police said. The bus driver Somashekharaiah has been taken into custody.
