KOCHI: The city shadow police on Tuesday seized 20 loads of sand illegally hoarded at the Amritha Kadavu in Edappally. According to the police, the sand was impounded after a tip-off was received by the City Police Commissioner regarding illegal sand mining. Special Branch Assistant Commissioner Tommie Sebastian led the team of police officials who conducted the raid.
