The Telugu sci-fi thriller 7:11 PM garnered positive reviews from the audience since its OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. In the meantime, the film’s leading actor Saahas Pagadala is returning in a new role as a co-director. He collaborated with director Naveen Kante for a supernatural thriller titled Dhimahi. The film’s trailer has been recently unveiled. Dhimahi narrates the tale of a young prodigy named Mahi, who mysteriously disappears, leaving her parents in distress.
In a quest to find her and have one final interaction with her, Mahi’s uncle, Dr Karthik embarks on an extraordinary journey. While the initial impression might suggest an investigative procedural drama, the film delves into the rarely explored realm of necromancy – the supernatural art of communicating with the departed.
So far, the trailer has received over 4,860 views and is still counting. One social media user commented, “Exciting thriller… All the best team". Another user added, “All the best to the team. Wish you more success than the previous film 7:11". The third user added, “It’s very interesting. All the very best to the entire team". One user also wrote, “Superb bro waiting".
Dhimahi boasts a talented ensemble with Nikhitha Chopra, Ashika Pagadala, Soujanya Kasina, Virat Kapur, Jd Cherukuru, and Sreejith Gangadharan in pivotal roles. Vamsi Davuluri, Ritu Chhina, Bhumika Patel, and Sushma Kapase offer strong support to the narrative. The film’s tagline, Jaya Jaya Hei Mahishasura Mardhini, adds a devotional angle — enhancing the plot’s depth. With its top-notch technical execution, Dhimahi ensures an immersive big-screen experience.
Dhimahi is produced by Virat Kapur and Saahas Pagadala under the label of Captain Cook Films. The film features editing by Santhosh Kamireddy and music composition by Sharon Raavi. The cinematography is handled by Rah Sharma, and Zee Music holds the audio rights. Mark your calendars for the theatrical release of Dhimahi on October 27.
On the professional front, Saahas Pagadala is best known for films including Oka Chinna Prema Katha, 7:11 PM, Dorakuna Ituvanti Seva and Manavi Alakincharadate.
