Actors Anushka Shetty and Navin Polishetty’s latest box-office outing Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty has opened to positive reviews at the box office. Mahesh Babu P has written and directed this film. Anushka has excelled in the role of a chef in this film, while Naveen, received adulation for essaying the role of a standup comedian. It has been four days since the film was released (September 7) and it has already reached its break-even point.

Breakeven is the point at which the money a film makes is equal to the production amount incurred on its shooting. According to the reports, the makers had kept a break-even point of Rs 13.50 crore for the film. It received Rs 13.20 crore (Rs 25.65 crore gross) before September 11 and was not very far from achieving the break-even point. It collected Rs 30 Lakhs on September 11 and finally covered the production costs. Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty has performed brilliantly at the domestic box office. It has also thrived at the overseas box office (US).

Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty’s first-day collection in the Telugu States (Telangana+Andhra Pradesh) has been Rs1.35 crore share. The film collected Rs 1.21 crore share on the second day of its box office run in the Telugu states. It minted Rs. 2.08 crore on the third day and Rs 2.44 crore on the fourth day.

Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty revolves around Miss Shetty (Anushka), a feminist, who wishes to spend her life as a bachelorette. On the other hand, Polishetty (Naveen) wants to be in a committed relationship. How they connect and what happens afterwards in their life forms the main premise of the film. The cast of this film includes Keshav Deepak, Jayasudha, Nassar, Murli Sharma, and others.
