Check your server list. If the server no longer appears in your server list, it's possible the server was deleted. However, it's just as possible that you were kicked or banned from the server.
Search for the server on Discord. To search for a server, click or tap the compass icon on the left sidebar, and then type the server name you're looking for. If you can see the server, it was not deleted—you were probably kicked or banned. If you don't see the server, the server could've been deleted. It's also possible an admin turned off Server Discovery.
Try to join the server. If the server still exists, you'll probably want to find out why you're no longer a member. Try to rejoin the server after finding it in search to see what happens. If you can join, you were kicked, but not banned. If you can't join, you're probably banned. It's also possible you're already on too many servers. You can't join more than 100 servers on Discord, or more than 200 if you have Discord Nitro.
Try to join the server from an invitation link. If it's a pretty public server, you can usually find an invite link by searching for the server name and "invite" online. You can also check for invitation links in your email or DMs. If you try to join from an invite link and you're banned, you'll see an error that says "Banned from Server." If you see an "Invite Invalid" error, the link may have expired, or the server was deleted.
Ask a friend from the server. If you're still not sure whether the server still exists, the best thing to do is reach out to someone you know from the server. Send a DM to a friend and ask if the server still exists, and whether they can invite you. You can also try reaching out to a mod to see if you're on the banned list. If you were banned, you can reach out to the mod (respectfully) to ask them why. You might be able to get them to unban you, depending on the reason you were banned.
