How to Draw a Newspaper

Using the first shape as a reference, draw several other lines to make it look like it has multiple pages.More Step 2.jpg

Add more details, like photos, banners, and the lines of text.News Step 4.jpg

Paint it using a soft grey and a darker tone for the rest of the pages.Paint Step 5 7.jpg

Alternate Method

Draw two rectangular shapes placed on top of each other.

Erase the lines inside the first rectangle. Now draw lines and write the word “News” on the first rectangle.

Illustrate the content on the front of the newspaper. Do so by drawing a series of small elongated rectangles on the first rectangle.

Repeat the previous step for the back of the newspaper. Do so by drawing the small elongated rectangles on the second rectangle.

Outline your artwork by inking over your penciled drawings. Then clean up your drawing by erasing your penciled artwork.

Color! Use shades of gray to make it as realistic as possible.
