Manchester United having launched a £15 million bid for the Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye.

After losing out Thiago Alcantara to Bayern Munich, David Moyes has turned his attention towards French international Yohan Cabaye of Newcastle United with Manchester United having launched a £15million bid for the midfielder.

Big spenders Paris St Germain and Monaco are already in the race to sign Cabaybe who had an average season with the Magpies.

Cabaye, who still has three years of contract left with Newcastle, netted 10 goals in two seasons in the Premier League. Moyes will be hoping to pit the midfielder with Cesc Fabregas if things work out with the Spanish international.

The Red Devils have reportedly upped their bid to £30 million for Fabregas and hope that they can persuade the midfielder to come to Old Trafford by doubling his £100,000 a week wages.
