The French superstar, Kylian Mbappe has been rumoured to want to make the switch to Real Madrid. A transfer that has long been in the works but never actually came to fruition.
One of the points to note is that Kylian Mbappe is running down his current contract with Paris St Germain which expires at the end of June 2024. However many have speculated that the Frenchman will make the move to Real Madrid in a bid to elevate his career and secure various trophies in his route to becoming a legendary figure in the sport.

According to a report by Goal.com, it is said that Mbappe is demanding €70m per year along with a transfer bonus worth €125m to sign for the Los Blancos. But this is not the amount of money they are expecting to utilise for his signature. The report also suggested that Los Blancos is reported to have a €35m per year offer which is significantly less than what was asked by the Frenchman.
However, if there is a mutual agreement, the side will be looking to get a written agreement from Mbappe. The last time both the player and the club agreed, there was a big intervention by France with the President being involved to change his mind and renew his contract.

However, despite Madrid wanting to get this deal over the line, the big issue is that PSG are still fighting to keep their talisman with the Parisians reportedly offering €100m yearly to stay with the club.
Madrid is still looking for that star striker option with the club not bringing in a starting striker since the departure of their Ballon d’Or winner, Karim Benzema who made his way to Saudi.

The striker continues to have a stellar season as he leads the club again. He has scored 28 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions and also assisted 6 times throughout the season.
